The biggest fear that every parent face before their child is born is not to be born with some of the dementic conditions, such as autism or down’s syndrome. There are tests nowadays that mothers undergo during the pregnancy that can reveal whether the child has the predispositions to develop any of these conditions or not but there is none of it that could say for certain whether the child would be born with the autism or not.
Becoming aware of the child’s autism is a big issue because there isn’t only one autism type that is characteristic of all people that carry it. The first symptoms of autism usually appear in the first two years of child’s life. British researchers came to the conclusion by the end of the 1990s that the autism is caused by the MMR vaccine, which raised all the nations on their feet, especially the ones that had a law regarding the MMR vaccine. Parents went against the government and law to prevent their children from receiving this vaccine, but it soon turned out that these researchers had only 12 children in their researched and the MMR vaccine was the only thing these children had in common. After that, 12-follow up studies were done to prove the link between the vaccine and autism and all of them failed. But no matter that, some parents and doctors worldwide are concerned about the damage these vaccines can do to toddlers.
But the most recent studies showed that the appearance of autism doesn’t have anything to do with vaccines, but the genetical and environmental factors. This doesn’t mean that mother or father are guilty by their actions for their children’s disease, but it means that there are some factors that weren’t developed enough in mother’s or father’s organism, but is now reflecting on the child. But until the newest, more trustworthy study is released, we are not entitled to comment it.
